Individual and relationship counselling.

Because sometimes we just need a little help finding the keys that unlock our own healing, joy and connection

  • Individual Counselling

Feeling as though you don’t belong or that you are not good enough is unfortunately very common in our society.

Feelings of powerlessness or not understanding who you truly are can be helped through therapeutic practices, mindfulness and embodiment to move through trauma, unlearn conditioning and uncover and appreciate your unique strengths and gifts.

    Potential Outcomes

    • Increased trust in your body, yourself and your decision making abilities

    • Hope and joy for your future

    • Increased energy and vitality

What does an individual session look like?

This is really up to you. With a mixture of talk therapy, mindfulness, embodiment and resource development, at your pace we will work together filling your toolkit with tools that help you outside of session, in your daily comings and goings to live more of the life you want.

*You may have access to funding through ACC sensitive claims if you have experienced sexual trauma

  • Couples Counselling

No matter what relationship label you have, understanding each-other amongst busy schedules and the distractions of modern lifestyles, have many feeling alone alongside those we were once “in sync” with.

Improving the way you communicate with each other, can make all the difference. Improved understanding of why each of you respond in the ways you do, can go a long way toward reconnection and once again appreciating each other.

    Potential Outcomes

    • Improve understanding of yourself and your “other” through more harmonious, compassionate communication.

    • Reconnection to the intimacy that can be in your relationship.

    • Resolve conflict & interrupt repeating patterns.

    • Co-create the relationship that you want, so you and your whole family feel safe, connected and heard.

    • Develop openness to the evolution of your relationship throughout the changing needs in your lives

What happens in a couple’s session?

We would work together to develop space within your relationship for authenticity and appreciation of each other’s differences through blameless communication.

Relationships like life, are not static – they are constantly changing. Collaboratively we would find mature ways for you to relate to each other that support your relationship in its constant evolution, while honouring the needs of all parties.

This work requires commitment from all parties in the relationship – I do not have a magic wand and cannot do this work for you. Together, you can be who you want to be in your relationship.

It is said that a majority of couples come to counselling seven years too late – don’t make the same mistake. Prioritise the importance of your happiness.

Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside of you, as a result of what happened to you”
